She not only " talks the talk" she "walks the walk!" Everyday at practice she tries to push her team to the next level. She is driven to be better everyday.
Emily is a leader not only on her team but in the whole Portage Northern Cheer Program. She puts in extra time out side of practice to help her teammates and help grow the Portage Northern Competitive Cheer program. She gives up her time to attend Freshmen and JV practices to help out both the girls and coaches.
Emily plans to attend Western Michigan University and tryout for the Co-Ed team in the spring.

Kim has been a Varsity Cheerleader for 4 years and has natural athletic talent. She has been named to the St Joe Valley All League team two times and has won All Region and All State Academic Honors.
She is the only senior on this years team and is a leader by example. Kim is very vocal in helping the freshman on our young team and helps them learn the ropes. She has transitioned from a side base to a back spotter and does a wonderful job leading her stunt group. Kim is always willing to do whatever it takes for good of the team as is a true team player.
Kim hopes to attend Ferris State or Michigan State University and has yet to decide what she wants to do "when she grows up". It has truly been a honor to coach Kim in her 4 years at Colon.

with passion, diligence, integrity, and a loyal dedication to her team.
