Senior Spotlight Week #1

Division #1:  Lynzi  - East Kentwood HS

Division #2: Becca - Mason HS

Division #3: Nicole: Rogers High School

Nicole is an amazing cheerleader, as well as an amazing student and person. She
is captain of the varsity team this season and has been a member of varsity for
three years. She never gives up, and when anyone else would be crying about an
injury, she gets up and wants to do it again.  When everyone else is getting
frustrated, she is always there to encourage them. As well as being an amazing
cheerleader, she is a leader in the school. She is president of national honor
society and number one in the senior class. It is a joy to have Nicole on the
team, and we wish her an awesome sideline and competitive season and good luck
in her future!

Division #4:
Unfortunately we had no submissions for division 4.  Parents and coaches, PLEASE email us the information so your seniors can be honored!
Becca is a fourth year Varsity Cheerleader at Mason High School.  She has maintained better than a 3.5 g.p.a. throughout her school years.  Becca is part of the Girls Letter Club and the National Honor Society.  She also spends a great deal of her time supervising and/or working in a concessions wagon for the Mason Baseball/Softball club in the summer months and for Upward Football in the fall.

During her sophomore year, her team mates awarded her with the "Most Improved", then she received Most Valuable during her junior year.  A natural leader with a positive "you can do it" attitude for her team, she's always very positive and conducts herself in such a way that she has the respect of her coaches as well as her team mates.  Unfortunately, she has suffered a few injuries but she has never let pain get in her way.  She loves to cheer and will do everything in her power to be there for her team.

After high school graduation, Becca plans to attend Michigan State University and study Marketing/Advertising.  She is also considering trying out for the MSU all-girls competitive cheer team.

Lynzi is a 4 year Varsity Competitive Cheerleader for East Kentwood & was Sideline Varsity for 3 years.  Lynzi has been named Advance All Area Honorable Mention 2006, and Most Improved Freshmen year 2005.

Lynzi is a hard worker and a very positive leader.  She is the type of athlete that leads by example.  She comes to practice every day with a smile on her face and a great attitude!

Lynzi  has a 3.6 GPA.  This past summer Lynzi attended Walker Medical where she took the training
to become a Certified Nurses Assistant.  She successfully passed the State boards in September.  After this competitive season, Lynzi plans to find a job utilizing these skills to assist her while pursuing her
Nursing Degree at Grand Valley State University which she will attend this fall.

Lynzi is a model of positive school spirit at many athletic events and activities at EK.
