Senior Spotlight Week #1
Division #1: Jamie - Wyandotte Roosevelt HS
Jamie is an extraordinarily hard worker! Jamie has a GPA 0f 3.7, has cheer practice 5 days a week, ballet class on Mondays, works as a gymnastics instructor 3 days a week, cheer competition on Saturdays, plays the violin in the high school orchestra, if that is not enough she is involved in SADD, WACC, & Foreign Language clubs just to mention a few.
Division #2: Alicia - Mason HS
Division #3: Melissa - Central Montcalm HS
When you look for a Team Leader you look for someone to handle team situations, lead by example, someone who is dedicated and has the willingness to do whatever is necessary to accomplish the mission. When we look for a team leader we look for Melissa.
Melissa has cheered JV one year and Varsity 3 years, over the time Melissa has grown into the sport and hopes to continue it in college. Her plans are to attend Central Michigan in pursuit of a degree in Broadcasting. Her dream job is to take over for Katie Curic. She is involved in modeling and was Miss Stanton, 2005, and homecoming queen at Central Montcalm, her personality and style is one that makes a great role model for younger girls.
She carries a 3.5 grade point average, and is involved in Student Council.
As her coach I highly salute Melissa for her dedication and her leadership and her friendship.

Alicia is a dedicated student and athlete. She made the Varsity Cheer squad as a freshman. She leads her team by example by always being on time and ready to go for practice. In the past four years she has only missed one day of practice because of illness. As a senior, Alicia is a looked up to as a leader who is willing to help out at all times and act as a positive motivator. She never gives up on anything, and is always trying to conquer perfection both on the mat and off. She will be graduating 10th in her graduating class of 278 students with a GPA of 3.93. Alicia is the ideal cheerleader, team mate and individual.
